I visited the campus this weekend and totally fell in love. Everything was PERFECT. I am a Pittsburgh native that recieves 50% off tuition at Pitt because my mom works for UPMC. Pitt is an excellent school for me regardless. My GPA the last quarter was a 4.5, after I stepped my game up and got straight A's in everything but AP US History (89%, but my teacher told me I made a phenomenal improvement like no other). Before, I was doing rough. I got a 3.7 midterm GPA (1st+2nd quarter and my midterm grades). That's the worst I had EVER done in high school. I am in AP US history, AP English, college in high school physics (also MAJOR improvement) regular math, and french 3, chorus and orchestra.
Sophomore year: college in high school chemistry, honors english, honors world cultures, reg math, and I think my average was a 4.0 (weighted)
Freshman year, I did great, honors english + history, bio with lab, and reg math, got an average of a 4.1.

I took my SAT for the first time in March and got a 1640 (460 Math, 570 Reading, 610 Writing) I am taking it again in June, hopefully raising my math, which is absolutely dreadful. Here are my extracurriculars:
Orchestra (President)
Chorus (Vice President)
Interact Club (Board of Executives)
National Honors Society
SADD
Student Ambassador
Social Committee
French Club
PMEA participant (Pennsylvania Music Educators Association)
Volunteer year round as a tutor and in the summer at a University of Pittsburgh hospital (3 years now, totaling to over 200 hours)
Fluent in Arabic and is currently in French

My classes for next year (Senior year)
AP English
AP Bio
AP Psych
Anatomy and Physiology
Trigonometry
Orchestra
College in High School French 4

I have been stressing for MONTHS now. I am applying super early (this summer) to higher up my chances. I want to get in more than anything. My essay is looking awesome, my letters of recommendation are by teachers that have been teaching for 40 years now that have seen my improvement and thirst for learning. I just want to feel more secure about this ): I'm studying for my SAT now, because I want to get in more than anything! Do you think I will? Thank you!
