Wow... such diverse choices. Here in California... so many people applying to UCs say they want to get into the health profession... Should some of the people I know actually become doctors/nurses, I'm steering clear from the hospitals they work at...

i definitely want to do intelligence. go cia!!! :)

One of the benefits of being a diplomat- black passport ;p

Entrepreneur, Attorney, or Rap Star (just kidding. Or am I?)

^ Jay Z, 99 problems; "I didn't pass the bar, but I know a little bit....."

If he had passed the bar, (did he actually try, lol), he would be all three. I say do it.

Ah, tough question. Though, I must say, being an FSO would be amazing.

I like the sound of being some sort of consultant. My dream would be writing for something like Slate or The New Yorker or The Atlantic.

I'm into neuroscience research and journalism...lean considerably toward human rights activism, peace studies, and international affairs, when I'm hit with insomnia I scribble plans for a future non-profit org I want to start...I'm a diehard theatre / language / creating writing / visual arts nut...some convenient time in the future I'd love to attend med school, do something in pediatric surgery, pediatric intensive care, neonatology, or pediatric neurology...but you know what? It's very likely that I will be the bum moving into the nice cardboard box behind your house.

Civil Rights attorney, or Prosecutor

Something in government/public policy. Maybe international relations or economics. We'll see.

Law, publishing, or journalism :)

FSO by day, CIA spy and political agitator by night (most spies are technically and ostensibly diplomats)

Yes! I also want to do intelligence and work for the CIA :)

Lol at the fact that so many ppl have political interests, I guess that is why they are applying to Yale.

For me I am either going to become a research engineer (PhD) for a corporate R&D lab and eventually go into management, or I will go to law school and work as either a patent attorney or in some political capacity but not being an actually politician like working for a think tank or being a lobbyist.

possibly a rapper or maybe a professor

^that is win for the most diverse two choices ever!

Hmm. I'd either like to be a prosecutor/public defender or a judge, but when I get older I'd like to be an absent-minded but brilliant history professor. :) That means I'll have to plan to get both a J.D. and a Ph.D...

It seems like a lot of us want to be professors :)

I do, I'm just not sure in what yet. Maybe psychology or philosophy?

I want to work in immigration policy/advocacy, especially Mexican border stuff.

Hmm... if I get sick of my professional career, I always wanted to start a fancy hamburger place with floats and a drive thru.

Ultimate goal - philanthropist. That takes some time though. At some point, I'd like to build lots of shelters for neglected animals, hold protests and hold-ups for trains transporting cute furry animals into Guangdong province to be EATEN, create some sort of sustainable development nonprofit in rural communities of the eastern hemisphere, etc.

I also had the distinct urge to become a Rep/Senator to reform financial aid the other day when I saw my FAFSA EFC...

Might I suggest PETA? lol

Something that has nothing to do with politics, of only that I am certain.
