so what classes are you taking this fall?
gen chem + lab
gen physics + lab
calculus 2
intro to spanish
freshman seminar

17 credits

I think this schedule will be really hard, any advice?
I’ve only taken one of those classes, but I’ve heard chemistry is really hard. I imagine it’s tough to take the two sciences at once, especially with labs involved and especially with calculus. But if math and science are your thing that might not be bad for you at all!

I took my first semester of Spanish last year and loved it! It’s fun to learn another language.

Rising Sophomore, Communications major:

College Algebra
Intro. To Biology I
World Literature to 1650
Beginning Spanish II
Intro. To Film

I’m only really looking forward to the last two. World lit. might not be as bad as I fear because I need to read more. I’m dreading biology and college algebra. Are those classes really that bad?

Basically I’m just getting more general education credits done and next semester I’ll be doing communication classes. I’ll probably throw an hour of radio practicum in here, though :D

Finally got a schedule after much hassle and re-hassle

-Calc III
-Physics I and lab
-Comp. Algorithms
-intro to Mechanical Engineering
-intro to electrical engineering

 • Artificial Intelligence

I might drop EE. I don’t know yet.

Nature & Politics of Proverbs (WLIT)
Democratic Theory (POLS)
Survey of German Lit to 1830 (GERM)
Expository Writing (GERM)
Politics & The Media (POLS)
Intro to Race & Ethnic Lit Studies (ENG)

Eh.

havent registered yet but i plan.

physics 2, 3 cr
phy2 lab, 1 cr
Analytical Methods in Electrical Engineering , 3 cr
Programming for CIS majors ,3 cr
Technical writing, 3 cr

total:13 cr

eh, if you’re a science major, get used to it, cause it’s a lot easier than later semesters for a math/science major…

just don’t fall behind in calc. i TAed calc2 last semester and people would always focus on their chem/bio premed stuff then start panicking 2 days before the calc exam. and make sure you remember basic high school algebra… by the time series roll around, there’s no point in learning the different tests if you don’t know that 5^(2n) = 25^n

and umm… junior math major taking number theory + independent study, real analysis, russian history to 1692, dostoevsky, and looking for a 5th class, possibly german200 (17 credits without a 5th class)

transfer student!

sociology of medicine & healthcare
general psychology (mine didn’t transfer … :-|)
health psychology
nurition and health
transfer seminar

I’ll drop either soc or health psych depending on what my math placement is and what’s available!

Rising Sophomore - Mol. Cell Bio and Spanish double major. Also pre-med
