So, what sports do you guys do?

No, I approve. You’ve done well futurexecutive.

You hold up 90 lb girls with 4 people. I’d imagine that part is not all that difficult. As for your training regimen, you know - maybe it is difficult. But if “difficulty” makes a sport then trying to date Lady Gaga would be one mean sport.

^^that’s too much work for what they do on the court. just sayin.

Yeah, but it is a lot harder when the girl is doing a lib, or a press-up lib. How about a twist cradle? I have gotten punched in the face from a girl twisting in the air and her hand slaps me as she falls. I bet none of you could be able to handle a day in cheer. You have to be flexible, strong, and have spirit all in the same time–I hate spirit! The flexibility part was easy for me, though. Since I already knew how to do scorpions and stuff (touch your foot to the back of your head). And it’s actually 3 girls holding her up, but it’s not just holding her up in the air, it’s a lot more than that. I am not kidding, I seriously thought it would not be that hard. I was like “wow cheerleading is not a sport, all they do is jump around and scream” but the practices are hell. We were talking to the football players, and we do more than them! After we do the warmups (the stuff I listed) you have to do 50 handstands, 50 cart wheels, 20 round offs, and 40 wheelbarrows. Why do you think the vast majority of cheerleaders are skinny and all toned up? But all in all, I did not do it again this year because 1. it is very expensive 2. too much drama 3. I did not enjoy it too much, I liked the practices because I got toned and got more flexible but I HATED the games.

the cheerleader’s at my school aren’t…

I would actually think that the vast majority of cheerleaders are skinny and all toned up because the fat girls are too self conscious (as 99.9% of teenagers in high school are). However I’d argue that they aren’t “toned up”. Skinny - yes, but I don’t think they are “built/toned”.

Maybe it was just the coach we have. Everytime our team scored we had to do a toe touch on basketball season… One game our team got over a 100 points! But divide it but 2 it was around 50 toe touches, my legs were numb I could not feel them. During football season the girls had to do pushups after every touchdown so by the end of the game the girls did about 40-50 push ups.

Cheerleaders at my school do pushups on their knees.

We had to do real pushups. Maybe it is just my school, I don’t know. But I do know that it was a lot of hard work, whenever a girl didn’t do a push up we had to start all over (but that was rare because sometimes the coach wasn’t looking haha). And the leg lefts aren’t regular leg lefts, you spread out your legs (ahhaha) and then you can’t touch the ground then you have to like point your toes, lock your legs and swing them up and down without them touching the ground so that you work your abs, too. But yeah, I hated cheer haha.

the coach for my school’s cheerleaders is really tough too but their still fat. last year practically the whole team quit and rioted because they had to practice everyday. in short, our team fails at rallying the crowd and creating spirit. our pep rallies are pathetic…it just isn’t fun when their moves are out of sync and fat rolls and wedgies are inevitable.

This Kentucky chick is my new favorite poster. I have thoroughly enjoyed and gotten a kick out of every post I’ve read from you lately.

^Hahahaha. We have 1 or 2 of those. We have quite a few african-american cheerleaders.

Haha wow, I think the true cheerleaders are the ones who can do backflips and stuff, now that is awesome.

thank you. happy early birthday! sorry i was just checking

Hehe thank you. 23 more hours and then I’m legal for R movies (which I just realized) :D

You’re a youngster.

i’ll be 17 in exactly 2 months from today. can’t wait to watch my first rated R movie…

Wait, you’ve never seen an R rated movie? I’ve never seen one legally, is what I meant (but if you are <17 and have parental consent then it is legal, but you get what I mean). I’m not a huge movie buff, but I’ve seen a few.

It’s actually nice to be able to go in without a parent. I turned 17 about 6 months ago.

Hehe, I rarely go to theatres to watch movies. I normally just watch movies on TV but if there’s one I really must see, I’ll go see it in theatres.

I think in 22.5 hours, I’m going to sit down and watch BASEketball :D

I’m a huge movie buff, too. I see about, hmmmm 4 movies at the theatre a month? I love seeing pre-screening so I can start talking about movies before others have seen them! Like the Last Airbender I saw about 5 months ago and I saw Scott Pilgrim vs the World today–good movie.
