So what's everyone's plan for this summer to increase SAT scores?

Let's please share them!!!

Read Gruber's cover to cover.

sit on my butt and watch tv.

sit in a small dimly lit room and study for ten hours at a time everyday

try to study for SAT.......(I never did it and had to pay for it too!)

hopefully i'll be done with SAT's once june scores come back!

Ye summer is a time to relax and have fun. Don't waste it on studying for a stupid test. If you really want to though, just do a lot of pleasure reading. It'll do wonders for your CR.

Hey Ashraf,

Do you think Gruber's book is pretty good to get a pretty good increase? Im planning on using it if its helpful for the Critical Reading part. Im good with Math and Writing. I'll use Barrons or something.

Thanks

anyone else??????????

i'm going to follow others advice and basically just read a lot, play my trumpet:), continue doing review books/tests (that is if i'm not satisfied with my june score)..

reading, taking a course at cmu for ethics, relaxing, and hoping for better luck next time. :)

What's Gruber? And what is the best book out there to improve math?? I really really need help on math. I'm pathetic at it. And I run out of time ALL the time. How do people finish early or on time on math!!!!!

Read the books I was supposed to read for last month's. :(

lock my self in basement and study until i pass out every single day

Im gonna lock myself in a room and just READ.. READ.. READ. I dont think I did well on the June. Im hoping for 2300+ in October after memorizing 3500 Barron's Words and as well as Spark Notes List. Im gonna practice like crazy.

i would have owned the critical reading if A) my best section hadnt been equated or whatever they call it, and B) i noticed that one section had 35 q's instead of 25. hahaha. i was furiously bubbling in for the last 2 minutes. so i wont really do anything for that.

im taking a math class this summer, so i'll just brush up on geometry concepts before the test. andddd i'll study vocab. my essay got a 12 so im pretty sure i can pull that off again.

oh and take loads of practice tests. i hear thats a really good way to improve your score.

The section with 35 q's is writing, not critical reading. That only goes up to 25 (usually 24)
