So what's the rule with college clothing?

It sort of annoys me when people with no affiliation--love its teams, family, accepted, etc--wear college gear (everyone seems to have a harvard and yale sweatshirt).

Because Harvard and Yale are so famous, it's reasonable that anyone who visits there would want a souvenir. What better than a sweatshirt?

a shot glass is better than a sweatshirt!

I have a Stanford baseball cap. I don't know if that counts as gear or clothing. My brother got me one when he was a freshman there (I was about 10) but it was too small so when I did a summer program there I got a new one. It is the first hat I've found that fits because my head is big. So, I guess that's annoying?

haha no you're ok.

Good, because you have no idea what it's like to go for 6 years and not be able to find a hat that fits! :p

Hmm...... so ebay huh? i'll have to look into that!

that's rule has got to be worded really interestingly if that is done so in a legal fashion. Anways, I never understood people buying clothes of a college when they visited. If you don't get in, you probably will never wear that shirt again! What a waste of money. I know some kids it seems like every college they visit they get some kind of apparrel. I don't get it. Someone please explain to me.

However, as somoene else stated, I don't have any problems with people wearing college apparrel to places where they have family or whatever.
