Probably a not so smart question, but estimated numbers were submitted on the FAFSA January 24, then updated manually after our taxes were filed on February 22. Received an email that it was submitted successfully. I also paid the taxes owed online immediately.

DS has been accepted to several schools, some with merit scholarships, but without the final numbers we still don't know what schools are really a possibility yet.

Do schools tend to notify all at once or just trickle in like the acceptances?

I haven’t been on here lately, but thanks for the response! The wait is so frustrating when he’s getting letters, invitations and emails every day wanting a commitment :(

Just kind of at a loss here. They are all having overnights, day visits, “honors dinners”, etc. I don’t want them to think he’s not interested, but I don’t want him to choose “the one” before we know its possible either. He’s received really good merit scholarships so far, so maybe it won’t be a problem. We shall see…

We are waiting too. So far we received 3FA offers with only merit. Since college tuition and board is almost 50- 60k the scholarships don’t make it too affordable. We too are waiting for FA packages before doing accepted student’s day that is far away and will be a costly affair.
