just curious, even though we are fortunate enough not to have to pay much of anything at all for the local school my daughter is going to......haven't gotten any "packages" from any of the schools she applied to.

thanks...

From what I’ve heard, they are supposed to come soon after the acceptance letter but ‘soon’ is very broad. I got a package for Drexel today and received my acceptance letter a month ago so I’m not quite sure how long it takes…

Well considering that its so close to May 1st, schools that admit students will often have financial aid packages come with or very soon after.

mmm. I figured soon…yes…since the deadline to accept a school is 5/1.
we shall see I guess.
thanks ;)

Well, I’ve been calling my schools for several weeks now, making sure they received my FAFSA, etc, and I’ve concluded they send awards “a week from now.” Next week I will call them again and again be told they’re sending them “a week from now.”

“The rule is, jam tomorrow and jam yesterday - but never jam today.”

My son received several of the financial aid offers very soon after his acceptance letters. He is still waiting to receive the info from a few more. So clearly they are all very different!

Anyone ever worry that if they call FA offices too many times, they will get annoyed and cut your aid? lol
