Ok people, fess up: Who has never been out on a date?

ok

:looks around covertly in embarassment, then sticks hand up in air:

i confess. i haven't :(

raises hand excitedly/waves it about
Me!
realizes this is not a good thing, becomes depressed at his social failure

Eh, I really don't feel the desire to date, and even if I did I couldn't get one. I mean, all the girls thing I'm cute, but baby turtle cute, not Brad Pitt cute. The fact that I'm shroter than 95% if them doesn't help either.

raises hand slowly
sad but true

I haven't either.

Well, I have, but I didn't in high school (I'm a college frosh), so since this is the High School forum I figure that counts.

University is a whole new ballgame, especially if you live on campus. Different people in every (huge) class and every EC activity; parties where you can be as visible or anonymous as you like - or better still, EC parties where you actually know people and can get to know them better :) ; co-ed dorms.....all these are condusive to finding someone.
In high school there were 50 guys in my grade and I knew I'd never date any of them....now, there are 5000 guys and they're all "fair game," so to speak. Situation has changed somewhat :)

I have never been on a date. One, my parents find the whole "dating in HS" thing pointless. Mindset of foriegn born parents. And two, the boys at my school do not know I exist.

I admit I haven't either, not proud of it but no worries on my part. There are girls I like and hang out with but that isn't a date, sigh :).

Although I had secretive relationships, I never went on a real date.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ By secretive relationships do you mean over the internet with people who might be 40 year old men? Hahaha I'm just messin' wit ya, but I guess I don't understand what you mean by that anyway.

why secrative? You're scared to kiss somebody?

=] Me. I'm proud to be single! W00t!

I meant that my parents didn't know about my relationships. Also, I wasn't committed to my bfs/gf- I was just being with them for physical intimacy. Does it make sense?

Sorry about grammatical mistake. secret relationships

Yeah ^, some people consider that . . . FRIENDS WIT BENEFITS ;O

That's not secret, that's just friends with benefits. Dam, you beat me to it.

That's correct term.

To Sarorah, xd You go gurl! Ha ha ha. :]

I wonder how. . . considering my net speed right now is verrrrrrry slow
hey thanks punkiie, you know FWB may be even more intense than a regular relationship.

you kids with good friends, hold on, it might develop into something really nice
in fact, ya know the song i'm listening to now

*if i had one wish
we would be best friends
Love would never end,
It would just begin.
If I had one wish,
you would be my boo,
Promise to love you,
Trust me Ill trust you.
If I had one wish, we would run away . . . *

aww.. a tear*
but a good relationship may start with best friends :)
man the high schoolers have been really lovesick lately

I've never been on a date, and I'm not afraid to admit it! Dating in HS is pretty stupid, in my opinion, even though my parents aren't foreign born and don't have a problem with it.

Why do you think it's stupid?

Personally, I think it's equally stupid to give a blanket statement like that in which it is clear that many feel otherwise.
