WHAT ARE YOUR COLLEGE PLANS?

I have decided to attend NEU and to stay on the waitlist of JHU. Although I cant wait till this fall!!!!

WHAT ARE YOUR COLLEGE PLANS?

get As an party every weekend lol although i dont drink

lol not that plan i meant where are you going to college?

hahhahaa lol i am going TO NEU SO I WILL SEE YOU ON CAMPUS

I'm going to NEU.. just sent in my deposit today.

good KK see you on campus

i was seriously considering

but then i got into tufts...and i have to reconsider lol

very happy to be going to NEU in September!

For people that will be going to NEU in the fall.. what is your major?

I'm in CCIS for Computer Science.

Thinking of going to NEU...but according to US News rankings- Binghamton (SUNY- my other choice) is better...it is 71 and NEU is 115..so wat should i do? say who cares, take the aid, and welcome boston?...my major is bio..how good is NEU for sciences?

Green,

Northeastern should be ranked much higher than 115. But it gets unfairly penalized by U.S. News for having a nontraditional academic curriculum. In reality, Northeastern is really a top 60 school. See my post on this subject in this thread:

Not to worry though because despite its nontraditional academic program, Northeastern is still moving up in the rankings every year. If you could buy stock in colleges, Northeastern would be one of the top performers on Wall Street.

I am seriously considering goin to NEU , and staying in the waiting list for JHU. However I have seen the benefit of co-op! my brother goes to Kettering University (Flint,MI) it also has co-op. He just got back from China and Japan, loves co-op. He has benefited from it sooooo much! and placed in several places in the US and abroad.
I just really want that type of experience! I want to be out there instead of starring at a book 24/7 for 4 years.

i'm going to northeastern! i'm excited. :)

I'm about 99.9% sure I'm not going (so I guess my spot will be going to someone on the waitlist that really wanted to go!). I prefer BU and Emerson over NEU for what I want to study, and I'm in at both of those. Still waiting on two more schools, but regardless of whether or not I get into those, I'm probably not going to Northeastern. Though it does seem like a great school..I hope that everyone who's attending enjoys it!

SO today im 100% certain im GOING!!!!! WOOOOOOOO im soooo excited!!! cant wait!!!! :)!!!!!

I think I'm falling for Northeastern..haha

NU shuffle is a parody site created by a couple of students to increase school spirit by poking fun at Northeastern. It's sort of like the Onion at Harvard (none of the stories are true). But it has not been updated for a very long. The discussion forum is now filled with spam mail (I would advise against clicking on any of the posts).

Here's another Northeastern link to check out:
