So who knows how to...

Oh sorry I didnt notice tanonev clarified the hkcmd process!

formatting isn't hard......getting all of your software is, unless you have restoration cds......when did you buy your computer?...if you got it in late 2003 or later, you have an underground restoration program, which reboots everything you had on your computer when you first got it (deletes everything you already have may i add)......usually you press F10 at your startup screen, but you'll have to contact your manufacturer for the proper execution key if otherwise....songs are redeemable....no need to stress over those...and i do recommend you invest 10 dollars in to buying an adware-free gneutella agent...i mean....any p2p/direct file sharing program is slightly risky, but paying for something that doesn't load hidden files on to your computer is worth the small price...it saves space, memory usage, bandwith, and it increases security.

Limewire Pro and Bearshare are your best bets.....klite is annoying, napster is limited, kazaa is just a pain in the ass, ares is ok but still a pain in the ass at times......i use limewire and it hasn't failed me yet

id say you should save your important files and reinstall windows. that'll wipe everything. i actually reformat once a year, it really helps to maintain my computer's original speed.
