So who's nervous?

Yes They do for me because I'm going to Diversity Hosting Weekend, I don't think Yale sends likely letters

I hope being a Brasilian helps my case. I hope being an Iranian also helps my case for either Harvard or Yale. My issue is financial aid in Cornell (Education is pretty much the same) however, Harvard and Yale give amazing financial aid. Plus, I hear they have an amazing computer science program (Better than Cornell!). Quite Nervous.

Yay, I'm the third person in this thread who's been accepted by LA and Cal and waitlisted by Stanford. lol

Edit: Wait, for people on their waiting list, the colleges look at 2nd semester senior grades?!

I got waitlisted at WashU, rejected at Gtown (I was deferred EA)... this pretty much guarantees that I'm going to get rejected at Harvard and at the other Ivies I applied to.

Not really, Wabab. Schools like WUSTL and GU are intent on climbing the rankings and catching the schools ahead of them. They jealously guard their SAT ranges. The Ivies can afford to look at applicants more holistically.

still waiting.

alextheman - i think raspberry and blackberry are my favourites.

ah yes, mixed berry yoplait yogurt...good stuff. it helps to calm my nerves when my physics teacher gives our class pop final exams that count for 30% of our grade..... i also think the whipped ones are good...there's a chocolate whipped one thats just crazy delicious...and its only 100 calories!

I'm kind of excited not nervous lol. I'm into dartmouth and brown, and WLed at MIT. I really think I'd be happy at any of them, so if (when? :P) I get rejected at Harv I'll still be happy!

i have 3 government speeches to correct, while i rant over how much uchicago's aid offer sucks.
waitlisted at stanford yesterday. i think i still have a bit of momentum from the first four acceptances left (like barack obama).
im waiting for princeton, harvard, and penn. id be satisified with 1/3.

I got rejected from Chicago Duke Amherst and Stanford and I don't have any acceptance so far or any safety school, so I'm a little nervous, but just a little bit. In the end, everything will be fine :)

"im waiting for princeton, harvard, and penn. id be satisified with 1/3."

yeah i don't know many people that wouldn't...

Waiting on Harvard, Yale (got deferred in early), Columbia, and USC. I got rejected from Stanford and accepted at the top three UCs: San Diego, Cal, and LA at least.

I'm not nervous. I've already been accepted to a great school, so things will turn out just fine for me, whatever the size of the Harvard envelope.

Actually, I'm not too nervous either. MIT and Harvard tied for my first choice, so I'll be happy either way. The only problem I have with being rejected is people talking about it, but I'll get over that. Occasionally I have a spasm of OMGHARVARD but they last only a few seconds :]

i've given up ALL hope

i was accepted to Northwestern, waitlisted at JHU and WUSTL, and deferred at Yale (EA)...

*sigh

I'm very thankful and have been lucky this year (3/3, excluding local state school). If I don't get either of the remaining 2 (Harvard and Princeton), I'll still be happy... though I really want Harv/Pton for the significantly smaller financial burden on my family.

i agree abt the financial burden...northwestern's aid was horrible
:(

Accepted - UW-Madison, Wash U, & NU (generous FA)
Waitlisted - JHU
Rejected - Stanford (regretting not applying to UCLA)
Waiting - Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Brown

Accepted: UCLA (full ride), Cornell, Cal & MIT
Rejected: Stanford
Waiting: Yale, Harvard

Accepted: Yale, USC
Rejected: none so far
Waiting: Harvard

I highly doubt I'd be able to survive this admissions process without a single rejection... so I guess Harvard will be the one ><

the wait is killing me! I just wanna move on with my life xD

Well I'm accepted at my #1 USC film school...soo basically I don't care b/c I was one of those kids who applied just to see. lol. Of course my parents think I'm a little crazy and will think I'm even crazier if I turn them down.

GO TROJANS!
