lol, actually my sis got waitlisted at cornell and decided to go to bing. she loved bing and is now in her last year in med school

My son transferred to Binghamton from Cornell and is so much happier. The pressure on the family, and by extension him, was enormous due to the expense of Cornell (he was in Arts and Sciences at Cornell). He feels Binghamton is slightly less rigorous (he has a 4.0 at Binghamton) than Cornell, but the school’s atmosphere allows him to be more relaxed and happier, and able to have some time to explore extra curricular activities. While at Cornell, he felt he did not have a balanced life, which caused him to fall behind in his sleep, coursework, etc. I sometimes think to myself, the students who picked Binghamton without every applying to Cornell were the smart ones. A great undergraduate education, at 1/4 the price, and grad schools love Binghamton graduates!
