Everyone on this forum is so gosh dang smart, ya know? Man, 2400 SATs, 36 ACT, 20 APs, blah blah blah.

So what on earth do ya'll do with all that excess brain power? I hardly see any intelligent looking threads around here!

I think we need to start one. From now on, this thread is the designated drop-off, so to speak, for excess intelligence. This intelligence is so excessive, it cannot be dumped on any other people than on this here forum.

Now, maybe we can start a few of these to keep 'em focussed, so I will start off with a general intelligence area: SCIENCE

Alrighty then, whooee. Science. Well, I know we've all taken AP Chem, AP Bio, AP Physics, and probably many others. Let's talk about the most amazing, incredible, and theoretical aspects of science as we possibly can! Maybe this forum can live up to its reputation of extreme intelligence!

So, ahh, how do I put this... GO!!!!

P.S. Sorry for the Texas drawl (at least I think I was doing it). I have been watching a lot of King of the Hill.

Ok, let's get started with a general discussion about the existence of antimatter in the universe, and maybe someone can give a good explanation for the occurrence of baryon asymmetry shortly after the Big Bang. We can finish off with a quick overview and discussion of quantum decoherence.

(I just wanted to get it started with a bit of physics, but we can move to another field later.)

Mmmm, indeed. The Cauchy-Riemann Equations, perhaps?

Note that the Cauchy formula expresses the value of a holomorphic function at the origin in terms of an integral around a certain contour surrounding the origin:

We can then derive a higher order version of this formula by using 1/z^(n+1) instead of 1/z. This yields the nth derivative of f^(n)(z) [note that (n) stands for the nth derivative and not power] of f(z) at the origin:

Hmm...maybe we could combine all of the "intelligence" of CC and use it to create the "paffle" or "wancake." Take your pick. No, I haven't iamapeach. I am not a big fan of chocolate or ice cream. I'm weird, I know.
