So your AP class is over...

My AP Biology class is two periods, periods 1 and 2. For that, we just have to come for the first five minutes of AP Biology and tell our teacher that we are here so he can take attendance. No final, just an A for the FEX (Final Exam) area on our report cards.

For AP Psychology we had one class after the exam, and it was only for juniors, to discuss how the exam went. We don't have class anymore. No final, just an A for the FEX (Final Exam) area on our report cards.

Last year I took AP Modern European History and we had to read a book called "Night" by Elie something, it was about the Holocaust and a personal account of this kid. After we read that, it was counted as half of our FEX grade. Then we had a group project, consisting of two students per group, and we had to write a report about some area discussed in Euro, then present to the class. This portion was counted as the other half of our FEX grade. However, I think it was just busy work, because we all got As.

Austin, that's an idiot policy giving idiot high school teachers more power. They are power-hungry morons as it is.

Btw, just so you know, I was the valdedictorian of my class. So I'm not some disgruntled kid who didn't get my way, but I've seen how they are with students, with some exceptions.

Well, I have finals for my AP Literature and AP Psychology classes. For AP Lit, I have to write an I-search paper (mini research paper), and for AP Psych, I have a PowerPoint presentation to do called the "A-Z of Emotions." I have to find an emotion from each letter of the alphabet that represents me, show pictures of the emotion, and then I have to describe when I exhibit the emotion, why, etc. etc.

In Bio we watched the movie GATTACA and are doing a tree walk for our final. In WH we have some sort of activities planned, and we have to write a one page Compare and Contrast essay on two revolutions from the 20th century. Luckily, classes end a week from today for me!

Arg, we still have to do stuff. Actually, the teachers in my other non AP classes also decided it's time to put more on the work load. Don't they know we need to study for the SAT/ACT?

Physics B- just like before, quizzes/tests- special relativity
Statistics- ANOVA, other topics
Economics (Macro)-Project that's worth our exam grade
Chemisty- Graded labs

My teacher is being a TOTAL btich and making us do all these damm projects that mean nothing! They're so hard and noboyd has any care left for high school at all (we're all seniors!)

my schools ap exams cost 8 bucks :)
the school pays the rest
since the test are over, we are:

ap us history - politics(card game), phase 10, and ultimate frisbee. next ap bbbq with the other classes
ap psych - watched whats eating gilbert grape, now matchstick men. next week we will decorate ceiling tiles

AP euro: watch the "tradition" movies, which we watched last year after ap world, and I guess they're the only movies my teacher has, The Mask and Big Trouble in Little China, then people start bringing in movies, Con Air, the Indiana Jones Series, the old Star Wars; he tried to show us Glory but we claimed it had nothing to do with euro.
Ap english language: we supposedly have this "mentoring" project where we correct 10th, 11th, and 9th grade essays on what colleges they want to go to, but up to now we've only watched part of the first season of that 70's show
Ap bio: dissecting a pig fetus, now finished, and then a fishing trip, supposedly ties in to the ecology chapters
Ap art history: independent, so no difference
my school: 83$ each exam regardless of how many you take

Calc: Play soccer with kids outside
Computer: Play online games
Lit: Sleep
Comp.Govt: Read comics

US History: riddles, diplomacy (board game), study on Iraq (little section).

Chem- make a 'what not to do' safety video for next years kids (gonna be fun!), go to middle school to show them some cool experiments, have an AP chem vs. AP physics basketball game lol (and we only have 4 more days of school left!!)

Calc-study hall, sign yearbooks, etc.

English-write a stupid paper on Jane Austen....(i hate that teacher..)

no finals if you take the AP exam and maintain an 85+ in the class.

^^No finals?? Neat.

I still have to show up for the history exam, I think we will be reading some article...I dunno.

my bio teacher isnt making us take a final, but everthing else has one...and in calc, she is teaching more stuff..like next semester calc..and it will be on our exam...it pretty much sucks

i didn't have to pay anything for the exams...even for micro/macro which i self studied. maybe i should have taken more. after the exams, our calc teacher showed us a couple of movies, then she's going to teach us bc stuff starting monday. for english lit we are just watching a whole bunch of movies, and the only thing we've talked about is post modernism when we were watching moulin rouge. we have a project for apes and thats about it for the rest of the year.

Calc AB- the teacher just keeps right on teaching, but he's awesome so no one minds. Unknown to any of us, however, we have a final this week(exam week), which wont be hard(a full AP test) but still sucks.

AP English Language- we only have three class days after the exam, two of which we did pretty much nothing, the third we're having a final of sorts, just 40 minutes to write a persuasive essay on anything, which is kinda cool

AP US- we watched Mr. Smith Goes to Washington and have to write one last paper analyzing it or whatever. We had a final the week before the AP Test to prepare, so no final during finals week, which is nice.

Wow I'm surprised so many ppl here don't have to take a final after the AP exam, it sucks that I still do but then again they won't be so bad

My AP History class is a pain in the butt. Everyone in the class still has to take the final exam, which our APUSH teacher is making by (guess what?) splicing together old AP tests and AP practice tests. I have to write another DBQ and more FRQs...yay! And we are still covering material and having tests, plus I have an essay due this Thursday. I wish we were having a social studies-themed movie marathon or something, but no such luck. lol

(AP exams at my school are the standard $83 -- I thought I'd comment on that since everyone else has.)

our ap exams are free......

stats - we have a final, and a project
bio - we finished our final, and we have a project.
i guess the projects are ok though, they are definite grade boosters

chem- research project, sneak into lab to play emulators and maybe Quake3 demo

stats- project and final - easy

english- watch movie adaptation of books (Great Gatsby on tape is messed up)

Econ- play bridge, beg for grade increase and an internship
