Social life at Brown (dance parties)?

Are dance parties common/popular at Brown?

see the o'reilly factor last week???

Brown was featured over the subtitle; Sexual Debaucheyr in the Ivies

believe me, they party

brown is one of the most, if not the most social of ivies.

How does that affect academics?

One of "the most social of ivies" doesn't seem to be that bold of a claim. Though, I'd think Darmouth would be the most social.

In regards to academics, I'm sure it has nothing more than a trifling effect.

LOL, Dartmouth is the most social if communicating with a beer can counts...

Just kidding...

Yeah Calipharius, i doubt most social of the ivies is too raucous. Could your respond to my chances thread? (Not as in, "how hard are these schools to get into," but "what are MY personal chances...")? Anything else I should know about this cool University? Is the campus crowded? (143 acres for 5500 students + graduate students -yikes!)

Yes -- there are a lot of dance parties, as well as parties that involve dancing, among other things.

Nope, the campus isn't crowded at all. It's actually really nice that it's so small. I live right in the middle of campus and never have more than an 8 minute walk to any class or activity. It's great.
