How much do they all interact (GW, AU, Georgetown)? I am interested in all, and was wondering about the social life at each one. Frat scene, freshman year, parties and everything like that. How important is clubbing (and accessible before turning 21)?
The night life is pretty crazy…that’s the one very interesting thing about Washington DC. You can make friends or network with students from Howard, American, George Washington or Georgetown. Honestly, you’ll come to meet people from all those schools that are academically brilliant and will go onto to do great things and are just awesome people. Maybe more overall at Georgetown and GW but definitely at least a few at the others listed. There’s lots of night clubs and restaurants and night life usually lasts till 4. It’s not even just GW, AU and Georgetown…you have to remember there’s tons of Ivy League grads working corporate jobs since DC is a government town. Whichever school you go to networking is an absolute must. It’s not all about cramming the library for hours and getting straight A’s…talk to people and enjoy life.
