Social Life at Emory Oxford? Convince me it's good please

I’m applying ED to Emory Oxford, and my whole high school career I’ve been a social butterfly. I usually go to parties every weekend, and I’m worried that going from my active city social life to Oxford, Georgia will feel like hell. I’m wondering what the social clubs are like - which ones are cool, which ones aren’t, what they do - I’ve read about people drinking in the woods and dorm parties? How big are these “parties” usually, and are there any local bars in the town that people go to? I’ve heard that Emory (the main campus) is a dull school with little to no fun social life in that there are no frat parties and no parties in general, and that people only go to the same 1 bar every weekend. If this is even remotely true about the main campus I can only imagine how much the social life at Oxford sucks. Basically I want to know if this is true or not. What kind of social life should I be prepared for at Oxford?

If this is that important to you, maybe you should’ve looked into it before you applied binding early decision.

AsleepAtTheWheel is right. You have to do your research, unless you mean ED2, which the deadline is weeks from now. I will say that the you can ED2 to both campuses.

This person is already worried about the bars folks go to and stuff (as if there isn’t a choice in a large metro area like Atlanta)? Oh boy…I just won’t entertain this.
