Social life at Trinity

I visited Trinity in the fall and aside from its beautiful campus, Hartford seems to be a boring and dull city with a lot of crime and not much to do (aside roam around the small trinity campus, which after a while must get rather boring...) So somebody convice me otherwise!!!

To address your first point: Hartford is anything but boring and dull. Granted, it has its share of crime (none of which trinity students have to deal with), but it is not boring. Plus, as a college student, and a friend of many other college students, I can tell you that a common mistake people make in choosing schools is worrying too much about their surroundings–in other words, when you are in college, you in so absorbed and involved in college life that the city around you is a secondary factor.
Moreover, living in a huge city such as hartford actually has some benefits. Tons of restaurants (pizza restaurants that are open literally 24-7 (delivery)), concerts near by (5 mins) at the civic center/dodge theatre etc…
More importantly though, “roaming around the small trinity campus” does not get boring. Life at trinity is exemplified best by “work hard play hard,” which is a lifestyle that is anything but boring. The small campus and small school makes for an awesome atmosphere, imo.
good luck.

I got into Trinity and I am really excited. I already know what the city is like and I know the advantages of a liberal arts education, but I want to know what Trinity is like socially/academically what the people are like etc. what should I be expecting?
