social life at TU

hey y'all. so right now, i have a totally favorable impression of trinity and am strongly considering going there. can anyone offer any insight on the social/party life at TU? because it's pretty small, i don't want to get there and feel like im going to outgrow it/get bored in a year or two.

Trinity has an amazing reputation among those who know it in Texas... But many students complain that the school is small. Compared to UT Austin or A&M, Trinity is really minuscule. Its not as exciting as the big state schools and many students do claim to be bored but I've heard students who have graduated from UT wish that they had gone to Trinity instead. While a bigger school ensures more parties... its also alot easier to get lost in the crowd.

Little Known and Fun Fact: San Antonio is actually the second largest city in Texas. While the Dallas-Fort Worth Metropolitan area has an estimated six million residents, Dallas city proper only has 1,212,000 residents compared to San Antonio's 1,256,000 residents. All figures current as of the 2000 US Census.

San antonio is an amazing city. not only is there the riverwalk with has so much shopping, restaurants, and little mexican trading markets, but there's also broadway street which has more shopping and eating. and then there's the area right outside the downtown, which has two huge outdoor malls and, of course, more eating. ;) but the campus is so active that despite the bus that routinely goes back and forth, most students only go out two or three times in their first six weeks (that's what I was told when i was overnight). and there IS so much to do.
