<p>Going to Davis as a freshman in the fall and I’m thinking about not living in the dorms. I got the hookup for living in graduate housing which is a lot nicer plus ill be able to bring my car. However I’m a very social person and would hate to miss out.
Basically how much of an impact does living/not living in dorms have on meeting new people and your social life freshmen year?</p>
<p>I would imagine a lot…because that’s where all the other students (freshmen) who are looking and eager to make friends are. Though if you are a very social person, you should be able to join clubs and make friends on your own, just not live with them.</p>
