I'm a girl who got accepted to RPI Early Decision so now I have to go there, however, now that I'm really trying to picture my life there for four years I don't know if I'm going to be able to deal with "lack" of party scene most students tend to complain about. I'm not an anti-social kid, I like to party and have fun, like big frat parties, dancing, crazy stuff...

What is the partying scene at RPI? I have visited a bunch of friends at colleges (my sister is in a sorority at SUNY Geneseo, another friend is in a frat at Cornell, etc...) and gone partying with them. Should I be expecting the same caliber of partying at RPI, or less because of the ratio and type of student who goes there? What is the greek life like? I heard the fraternities are far from campus, is there shuttles or do I need to have a dd? Any insight to RPI's night life would be greatly appreciated!

Don't get me wrong, I love the school academically. However, now that I'm looking at other kids who are got in ED I'm just getting a little afraid my social life is going to suffer.
