Social Observation

hmmm... has anyone else noticed that males are more immature than females at the same age? like i notice that no guys who are freshman have girlfriends and all the freshman girls that do go out with upperclassman. why is this? it is quite interesting

How do you define "immaturity?

"like i notice that no guys who are freshman have girlfriends and all the freshman girls that do go out with upperclassman"

retarded.

No guys who are freshmen have girlfriends? I highly doubt that.

I find guys and girls (at the college level) are pretty equal in terms of "maturity".

Guys mature later than girls, but at the college level, they should be pretty much even.

I think both sexes are equally mature; they both get completely wasted, engage in scandalous activities, pass out and then forget it ever happened :)

"'like i notice that no guys who are freshman have girlfriends and all the freshman girls that do go out with upperclassman'

'retarded.'"

Seconded^

Huh? In general it seems that younger women are attracted to older men more than the opposite. There's sort of a stigma here it seems. I know plenty of older male-younger female relationships but the reverse is less common and kind of looked down upon. Nothing to do with maturity, I don't think. I remember on several occassions girls being interested in me at parties but when they find out my year they shy away. Was I not as "mature" before they knew my age as I was after they knew? An older man is "sexy." A younger man...not so much.

Has anyone noticed the girls in college are more catty than highschool? Maybe just where I am.
