How is the social scene at Ithaca. Is it a decent party scene?

buuuuuuummmmmmmmmmpppppp

I guess its not very social :/

I've heard that since frats are not allowed, many kids go to Cornell, which is lame.

My daughter loves it - the dorms do a lot of activities as a group. Lots to do on campus.

It's pretty legit. I doubt it compares to, say West Virginia or Arizona State, but if you want to find something you'll generally be able to. The Commons aren't that far and people throw parties in off-campus housing. There more than a few bars in the Commons. Cornell is always an option, too, and it isn't that far, either. I don't think you'd be disappointed unless you're expecting giant raves.

There’s a good social scene. A lot goes on off campus in the Circle apartments. Then of course, there’s Collegetown which is actually where it’s at.

Most people do not go to Cornell for parties. I’ve gone like twice in two years. There are a lot of parties a little off-campus and in the apartments. It’s never hard to find a place to go.
