Socially Awkward and Nerdy Guys

^^fir serious?

<fuzzleshnops> Yo, if I somehow make it into Emory you wanna meet up? They need to overturn the goddamn f-ing deferral, seriously. I worked too hard first semester. But they don’t want someone who curse on their campus, do they?</fuzzleshnops>

SURE. I’m all for meeting new people

…and then judging them :D

But really, just tell me if you get in when you find out. I’ll show you around next year.

I guess I’m quiet but not socially awkward haha. I don’t start a conversation with random people in the hallways, but I’m comfortable around people I know.

Awww, look, it’s a CC love story beginning to bud…;)

<fuzzleshnops> All right, thank you. Let’s see what happens, yeah? :-D</fuzzleshnops>

OMG this is so cute! :)

<omg this=“” is=“” so=“” cute!=“”> Yo what are you talking about?</omg>

I thought melin was a girl???

Fail.

(no, I’m not a lesbian)

@Maple
Fraizer? Lol, I don’t think I’ve even ever heard of him.

@melin720
lolwut. Cursing and giggling sounds like a peculiar combo lolz. But erm, strange girlfriend/marriage mentality. Just upset you can’t get any?

@fuzzleshnops
Oh no sorry. Poster from way back(unless it was one of your multis?) For some odd reason, I stopped after IK.
But anyways, maybe that’s because you define socially awkward differently? Or your school environment even perhaps? You went to a sort of gifted school right, so perhaps you’d have more of the “proud nerds” so to say. And there are definitely some really cute nerds out there. You just have to be able to adore the quirky and unexpected :)

and lol @QuantumArbiter…you are very lulzy.

^Doesn’t want a girlfriend = guy?

Oh, oops. I’m sorry. Eh…allow me to duck into a spidery corner and fade from all human memory for thinking that LOL.

Hi randomazn14 :)

Wow, that’s so cool! What kind of stuff are you doing there? You must tell me more!

Yes, I did. I did research relating to the Unified Neutral Theory of Biodiversity using leaf functional traits last summer. This summer, I went to the Clark Scholars program, where I did more research in crocodilian phylogenetics (which is more like pure evolutionary biology), which was pretty amazing and somehow made me an Intel semifinalist. Sadly, I still haven’t been able to explore the developmental side as much, but I have plenty of time…by the way, you should apply to Clark Scholars!

like the semi-nerdy TV show haha

just a clarification: my post was in response to fuzzleshnops seeming to randomly wonder if she was fuzzyfirebunny or not, though it does make a handy nickname

both are responses to meadow’s responses

^^Hahaha if I were to talk about my research it would be a while. But the gist of it evolution and origin of genes. It’s quite fundamental and intriguing, but I won’t rant or else I’ll start boring someone:] Cool exciting stuff transposons hehe :D

Haha maybee. Although I already have an internship for the summer atm. Lol :)

Lol that’s a lot of smilies. Makes me feel like Wartsy haha. But this stuff just makes me feel happy insidee ^_^

^oh lol, i suppose I’ve never watched it. Haha yea, I always used to think they were one in the same. SNs are oddly similar.

I’m not the most socially awkward person there is, but I am still a nerd and still don’t have stupendous social skills. I kind of blame it on my monotonous-ness.

Maybe you can tell me about it on some other thread where it’s more relevant, but it sounds awesome and totaly bada–. Transposons? The origin of genes? That’s pretty amazing. (Sorry, I’m too lazy to think of any adjectives other than amazing and awesome.) This stuff makes me happy too!

@Mapleleafs: Frazier or Frasier?

lol, that’s alright. Yes, a bit off topic but oh well :]

^^maybe it was frasier

however you spell the seattle based TV show haha
