Hey everyone,
I am torn between Fordham and Holy Cross. I will be transferring this fall as a sophomore and I am honestly wondering how it is socially for transfers. Is the Holy Cross community open to meeting new people?

Thanks!

I don’t know any transfers, but a lot depends on what you are involved in, personality, etc. They seem like a friendly group of students, my daughter said, some can get cliquey (mainly female) but not the majority.
They have part of the Fall orientation geared to tranfers students and have students that help you acclimate and meet professors and other students. It isn’t like you are are just put there and that’s it. In that way HC does a good job. I would into Fordham’s transfer process also.

I think it is actually easier at Holy Cross because it is a small community and nearly all live on campus in a small close knit area. It will be far easier than larger schools where students will have already moved off campus into apartments and frats. 95% of HC students live on campus all four years.
