Software requirements for MAC's

I was just wondering if it would be better to get Microsoft Office for Mac's or get Apple's version of office called iwork?

Well....iWork's Keynote is FAR superior to powerpoint, but Numbers and Pages are not up to the spec of MS Office. I'd say just get MS Office. Number, in particular, lacks some essential regression functions. Also, Pages can be quite frustrating sometimes.

MS Office is your best bet.

You should get Office, sadly. Teachers will expect you to have Microsoft Word, and Pages isn't really the same.

Office 2008 for Mac - Home and Student Edition costs about $130 online.

at UNC, they sell office mac 08 for students for 25 dollars at the book store,

I bought Office 2004 for Mac because I've heard bad things about 2008. I got it new for $115 online.

Thanks!!!!!
