Some advice on college options would be lovely!

Hey!

I was hoping to get some recommendations on what schools would be a good fit for me. I'm not concerned with rank or prestige, rather I'm looking for a school that would fit my needs.

First off, I'm from Washington State and attend an Online School because my family moves constantly due to my parents work. I just thought I'd mention that if it would impact everything. So far, I'm applying to the University of Washington, University of Pittsburgh, University of Vermont, and Texas A&M.

The type of school I'm looking for is something up North (I like cold weather, not racist or whatever else could be wrong with saying that) preferably, but I'm open to other locations. I'm going to be majoring in Nursing, so it'd be important for the college to have that major. I would like to add some smaller private schools to my list which is why I'm asking on here since I have all public universities!

Any help would be great, thank you.

As for my statistics:

GPA: 3.91

of AP's Taken: 7

of Honors Taken: 3

SAT Score: 2220

Extracurriculars:
National Honor Society- 3 Years and Vice President
Debate- 1 Year
Tutor- 2 Years
School Speaker- 3 Years (Spoke at school events, etc)

George Washington and Georgetown (a little south). BU, RU more north

Some schools that have strong nursing programs are race-sensitive.

Perhaps Northeastern or Villanova are in order…

Catria, they are “race-sensitive”? What do you mean by that?

Here is a older thread on this that might be helpful:

Can your parents pay OOS cost for UVT, TAMU, Pitt? Because these schools won’t meet need.
You would get a nice merit scholarship at Pitt if you apply for honors very soon, as would you at UAlabama but it’s definitely neither cold nor North
Boston College, NYU, and UPenn both have a Nursing School (yes, with Penn you’d get an Ivy League nursing degree ;p)
Look into: Villanova, UVA, Georgetown, Northeastern.

UPenn has the best nursing program although your ECs are a touch weak for Penn, so it would be a reach. I recommend NYU and Villanova as well for matches.
