I had two quick questions. So first off, I was wondering if I should omit my Ap bio score (3) despite independent studying it at my school. I still got a grade for the class and everything but I just learned all the material off on my own. I took 3 total aps junior year (school doesn’t offer too many) and got 4s on my two other exams. Also got a 5 on psych sophomore year. I’m intending to apply to CALS for animal science. Should I keep the 3 or not? My other question: are LORS for CALS only through mail? I’ve seen some conflicting info online and just want to make sure. If so, when is the ideal date to send them all in (I’m on the west coast). Thanks for any help in advance!!
If you’re reporting that you too the AP Bio class, then you should definitely report the AP test score, because they would assume you took the exam anyway, and you wouldn’t then want them to think you got a 1 or 2. Also, AP Bio is actually one of the tests that is really hard to get a 5 on (you can check the overall stats). I wouldn’t fret about the 3 anyway. Our school told us to report all AP scores regardless and that some colleges will look at the grade you received in the course and not even look at the AP score.
