<p>Ok, if you get contacted for an interview when you submitted your common app, not the supplement, does it mean they think highly of you, or what are their criteria?</p>

<p>The supplement has an option for an interview, and asks when, when and with whom, what do you put?</p>

<p>Does everyone get an interview?</p>

<p>Is there a difference between an interview initiated by Harvard and an interview requested by you?</p>

<p>Harvard bends over backwards to make sure that everyone gets an interview, and I don’t think that, as an American resident, you /can/ request one, because everyone gets one. I just sat back, didn’t do anything special, and let my interviewer contact me…</p>
