Someone help me make an important(kind of) decision

family's having slight financial problems (not too sure)

I could either save about 10k by taking semester off and go to south korea and teach english as part time job or something and earn some quick cash and live with my family for few months

or I could stay in school, I don't think I'll have to pay tuition starting spring semester anyway (financial aid gives me like 8k per semester)

This is mainly due to the fact that I won't be considered resident til spring semester

I feel slightly disappointed that I could miss out on fall semester and might graduate a semester late, but at the same time I honestly don't mind visiting my home country(which I haven't gone back since 10 years)

Graduating a semester late is not big deal. You could still graduate on time if you took a summer session.

I say take the semester off. You won’t be behind trust me! You can easily make it up during summer sessions or graduating a semester is no biggie either. Saving 10k is really big… don’t let “graduating late” cloud your decision!

Hell yeah go teach in SK!
