Someone took my towel and clothes when I was showering

I had nothing to cover up to get back to my dorm.

Someone took all my clothes and towels like it was a joke. So I had to run out of the shower stall naked in my communal bathroom and people were everywhere laughing and staring at my nakedness.

Note for those who are going to be using communal bathrooms..... don't get tricked or played like me. Always have a plan B. Unless your plan B is to run naked to your dorm room quickly, I suggest you devise a plan C.

I probably would have taken the shower curtain down and covered with that.

^^ LOL ive always had that fear, luckily it hasnt happened to me…yet :O

it’s a very bad joke. but if ever it will happen to me…i’ll just walk and flaunt my sexy body. lol

Just out of curiosity, NastyPolitician, what is your plan B or C?

You should have flaunt it like gwencurtis12 said. ;)

If it were me, I would be extremely ticked off though. No one in that dorm would be safe.

this is something i constantly think about when using communal bathrooms. Where do you put your clothes/towel when you’re showering? i just kind of plop them down near my shower curtain far enough away so they can’t get wet, and close enough so i’ll be able to see if someone takes them.

Did you find out who did it? Did you give him/her a Colombian necktie?

Shower curtain it is… Unless they took your room keys too.

Why didn’t you just shout out to somebody to go back to your room for you and grab a spare towel or a pair of shorts? If this ever happened to me, I would just wait for somebody else to come in the bathroom (which it sounds like there were plenty around for you) and ask them to maybe go fetch my roommate who would probably help.

They took all my possessions which included my roomkey and the towel and flip flops. So I ended up having to pay for a new room key and I had to return to my dorm and banged on the door to get my roommates to open the door for me.

That was like an additional 10 seconds of people staring at me down the hall.

That is so wrong!! I’d be so upset! I’d most certainly ***** to the RA, head of the dorm, etc. Have you done anything to make anyone hate you?

Someone stole two suitcases of my brother’s clothes, so he wore two shirts on alternate days for two months.

We’re in a recession. People are desperate. Get with the times.

However, I must say that your username is very appropriate, NastyPolitician. ;)

Why does someone’s unfortunate financial status justify theft???

I would make the best of the situation, walking triumphantly up and down to each door until I found my clothes.

That was a lighthearted, insincere statement. Flippancy isn’t conveyed well over the 'net, I guess.

Haha, sorry, I was reading Baelor’s radical posts and when I came to this thread I forgot to flip my mind to the “most people don’t have trollish ridiculous views” setting. I guess it was pretty obvious, sorry :p

^Baelor makes me laugh. His posts are always so colorful! :)

Colorful. Colorful and scary.

I think someone’s unfortunate financial status or circumstance can justify theft in the scenario where they’re starving so they steal bread to survive.

I understand and could rationalize that type of stealing even if it is against principle.
