Something amazing happened...too late?

So my business just launched about 2 months ago and it's doing amazingly well. Think high 5 figures- low six figures. The thing is, I applied to some bad schools and didn't apply to the upper tiers (ex. ivy leagues, stanford, etc...) because of a mediocre gpa (3.4/4.0 unweighted). I have decent test scores (two Sat 2s are greater than 700 and ACT of 33). What should I do??? I realized that I made a mistake in not applying to any better schools since I could have appealed with this new info if I was rejected by them.

Am I doomed to go to these mediocre state schools and transfer my first year, or is there any other way?

Unfortunately I don’t see any way other than transferring out after the first year. Sorry. Congrats on the business though!

You always have the option of taking a gap year to grow the business and then reapplying to a more competitive tier of schools, especially if your grades this year reflect an upward trend.

^Agreed. It’s too late for this admissions cycle though

^that is a great suggestion. I second it and think if its the best option if you really don’t want to go to the state schoool. :)

Hmmm… That actually seems like a good idea. I’ll wait until decisions come out in April and see what to do from there.

Any other advice?
