<p>Hahah, I’m not in college yet. I’m only a high school senior suffuring from second semester senioritis! </p>
<p>seriously, if they are good hearted people, why would they follow the actions of others and abandon you as their friend? If they are truly good hearted people, they would be more sympathetic and sensitive.</p>
<p>gosh darned, stanford!!! Lol. The Stanford Medical school? what will you be doing in there? Lol. If i get accepted into stanford, imma go visit stanford and check out the labs!!!

<p>Ok you have a point, but I can’t risk it. I know im weird, but seriously, good-hearted people can be mean too if they want. IDK if they will actually abandon me…they probably wouldn’t since it would be too awkward.</p>
<p>Like for example, my friend (nice one) asked me a question, and I jumbled up her words and said something totally different. He was like…“uhhh can you hear me…?” And im like, OH, sorry…can you repeat it again (even though he had already said it like 5 times lol)…I heard it the 6th time but yea…he never let it go. Like, oh remember that one time where you misheard me?? </p>
<p>That would be really awkward if I told them…because if I dont hear and say what, they will immediately attribute it to my “deafness”, even though I can hear as clearly as them…its just due to panic and all</p>
<p>Oh yea, and I’m going to be doing research about stem cells (mainly for deafness…thats what everyone is doing in that particular lab). lol…and plus, I can’t wait because the food is awesome in the medical place haha</p>

<p>Whatever you do, I wanna hear about ur experience in the labbb!! i’m so jealous. lol. I wanna intern in there one day. lololol, but I will probably go to MIT in the end.</p>

<p>still jealous here. lol. I had worked in harvard medical school’s otolarynology lab over the past summer, but not about deafness specifically. it was about cats’ hearing. lol.</p>

<p>lol oh erm…well, i just asked if I could work since im passionate about finding the <em>dam</em> cure hahah…and he saw that since I would go voer there a lot during the summer</p>
<p>I know exactly how you feel, we have almost the same story, minus the track and deaf. Instead I have severe migraines and epilepsy. I now have a higher GPA and am editor in chief of the newspaper, VP of a club and co chair of a club. and I do ok in debate. </p>
<p>Yet I feel so useless when I am absent, or when I have an episode, the stigma that comes along with it. It is as if I move ahead 5 spaces just to be moved back 6.</p>
<p>nice congrats on editor in chief and all teh other stuff. aww sorry to hear that but we will all get through this together!!! haha</p>

<p>Keep up, and as someone else has said, remember that you’ll be having a more successful life compared to your “peers” who are making fun of you.</p>
<p>lol, wow. If I lived in california and near to stanford, I would have done what you’ve done. Go work in the lab with stem cellss…grrr…I"m insaneellyy jeallousss…instead, I live in Connecticut and ended up at Harvard’s otolaryngology lab. But living in boston all by yourself in the summer was an experience I wouldn’t trade for anything.
