Soon-to-be Applicants, Hopefuls, Reachers, and those who are totally winging it...

I can't believe....at all....that it is almost time to apply for Summer Seminar, and later on, to the Academy itself.

I was thinking, as I'm sure other USNA enthusiasts who sub-consciously know they're going to have an incredibly fun time applying (sarcastic tone, of course), that those of us who will graduate in 2007 and are applying to Summer Seminar and the Academy should start being in contact with each other...or at least knowing who we are and where we're from. This way we can help each other along the way, giving each other tips and assurances. We could maybe even help each other out of those inevitable drunken revelations of failure.

...Or you can just call me crazy and move on to the next thread.

VCM2007- Puerto Rico

i'll go with the latter.

Actually good luck to you and all other competing for 2010 and 2011. Remember to do well on those psats next week if you want a great shot in getting into the summer seminars. Strive for middle 60s in all three sections and you should have no problems. GL and HF

So a 190 or so would be ok?

i think a "190 or so" would be great.

Good Stuff

yes a 190 is fine. I got in Nass with a 176 but a lot of other stuff to balance that out

Hey everybody,

To the origonal poster, you'll be amazed at how time flies. I had been waiting to apply to USAFA forever, and am amazed that process the basically done now. It feels like applying to summer seminar was just yesterday. Keep your head in there and get everything in early. Then once you do that you can sit back and enjoy the tourture of waiting.

God doesn't hijack threads...

...stoned surfers disguised as presidents with guns do.

did you only apply to USAFA?

Yes, USAFA and AFROTC are the only ways I'm looking of going into the military.

woohoo, same here. Air Force all the way!

Take this from a NAPS acceptee: You will NEVER do as much paperwork in your life as it takes to get accepted.

P.S. NASS was one of the greatest experiences I have ever had. Apply early. I was online at midnight when they opened for applicants.

expect me to do the same :-D
