sooo....uh....forgot my SAT is in 9 days.

Gah! I mostly need a quick refresher on Math (I got a 590 last time while enrolled in Algebra II, and in Pre-cal now.).

Any sites or books I can pick up to get a little boost for my Math?

BB - search the forums for tips

Maybe I’m an idiot, but I couldn’t find anything other than “o no i got a 2240, how do i improve”

Anyone?

go to a local bookstore and buy the CollegeBoard “The Official SAT Study Guide”

it should be blue with some green, and the upper right corner should say “Now with 10 tests!”

those 10 tests are the key to improving anything, whether it be reading, writing, or math.

take as many math sections in those tests as possible. whatever questions u get wrong, try to find out how you should have done them. you should be able to manage at least a 650 with hard work.

dont worry, im in the same boat as you. my critical reading score isnt as good as it should be, and im only really starting to study/memorize vocab this week. good luck to both of us

i swear by the kaplan sat math workbook: raised my score from a 690 to a 770. =]
you’ve just got to drill yourself over and over again.
and its really straightforward, you should be able to finish the book in a couple of hours.

Eh, no need to study. That’s the real key to success.

/jk

Kaplan has some good prep books. For the few hours I used one I felt like I was getting some quality prep (for grammar, not math, but I assume the quality is similar).

Grubers…go for it.
