soooo....how screwed am i??

<p>okai so i'm a rising senior and the stress of college is realli starting to hit me......
ive been looking at a lot of colleges lately and these are the ones i'm interested in</p>

<p>and I want to go to med school soooo.......
what r some colleges/universities with good pre med programs?</p>

<p>i know my grades aren't very good this year.....i had sooo many family problems this year....</p>

worked at a doctors office (accupuncture place) since freshman year all year round
i work with my dad-general contractor
and i worked at a dry cleaners every summer since freshman year.....</p>

<p>Since I am attending the VCU GMED program next year, I think it would be best if I give you your chances for that. Well, if I were to look at your grades and SAT score alone, you would probably get in. However, your extracurriculars are really lacking medically-oriented activities. Be aware that the average number of medical-related hours for VCU GMED entering class of 2010 was about 435. I believe you should be able to get to the interview stage, just so long as you nail those essays and really show that you are unique from the other 300+ applicants to the program. And once the interview stage comes into picture, it’s not really about your stats anymore. Good luck to you, and if you have any more questions about the program don’t hesitate to drop by a PM!</p>
