Sophie Davis 2018 Interview

How do u know they had 2000 applicants and interviews 200- previous threads say 1000 and 270?

@sophie10000 because I asked…

1000 more applicants than last year!!! Cray cray

@sophie10000 what’s your ethnicity and volunteer/ EC’s? Also, tell me what you wrote about for your essays.

your gender is useful to

Too much info to absorb at once

What was ur sat score?

@sophie10000 too much info to absorb? If admissions officers can look at over 200 applicants a day, I’m confident that I can handle one. But it’s all good. I just wanted to help you by giving you some intake.

They didn’t ask gender on the app-do not wish to share

4 weeks till admissions decisions are released- interviews are still going on - and final decisions have not yet been made…

4 weeks till admissions decision—> 2/3 weeks of interviews remaining. :frowning:

Admisisons decision is less than 4 weeks

How do u know that ?

What day then ?

I thought admissions decision is on March 28th-

everyone gets their official answer of acceptance or rejection by april 1st, BUT they do start sending out acceptances/rejections/waitlists during the end of march - like, the last week. most likely around march 25 and onward

Wells that’s stressful :,(

@sophie10000 its ok, just remember not to lose hope. and if sophie davis wasn’t meant for us, then there’s probably something better out there. we all still want to become doctors. and if sophie davis is not the way, there are several other ways to become a doctor if it truly is your dream.
plus we can try again next year to apply as a transfer, so that’s an option

well i had my interview guys. make sure you all know how to describe yourselves, what your hobbies are, how to explain your extra curriculars very well, and i had a question which asked, “if you had your friends sitting in this room with you, how would they describe you,” and another one asking “how would you describe yourself more, as a leader, or a team player?” and “where do you see yourself in 10 years?” and “what is one of your hardest subjects in school”
and really important tip, make sure to be really chill when you are in your student interview. think of it as a friendly conversation more than a test.

Hey did anyone who had an interview get a tour of the school from one of the faculty members after they were done ? Because I heard that they do that for some students…
