hi im currently a senior in high school and applied to sophie davis for the fall of 2009
i was just wondering when we should expect to hear back from them about interviews?
and how do the interviews go? what types of questions do they ask?

sophie davis is my top choice so far, hopefully i get in, but recently ive been hearing that sophie does not prepare you well for when you go to the medical schools after the five years..is this true?

i got my interview notice again by mail and email. my dermatologist says that even though sophie davis is really good for getting you through med school quickly, the students from there are only focused on science and know very little about the arts and humanities. in short, he said he wasn't too impressed with them and said he would suggest for someone to go through college and have a little more fun before going to med school.

anyways does anyone have advice for the interview? or could you tell me what i should be prepared for?

hey LEISA,
i got my interview notice too. Do you have to come in on the 11th?

If you go back to page 10 of this thread there is some really good stuff about the interview. Although it doesnt stop me from freaking out about it.

gpa - 94.57 uw
satI - CR&M 1390 Total 1990
act- CR-30 M-28 W-34 S-28 Composite-30

I have to go on the 10th The letter didn't really say much, it says you've been selected for an interview, there are a limited number of interviews, time and date, stuff like that. It was postmarked on 2/3/09

Hello everyone. I'm a new member who is really curious about the Sophie Davis school of medicine. Could someone be as generous enough to give a general explanation to what they are looking for in an applicant?
