I do not know what options I have but I need help. Im a sophmore, I took 4 classes fall semester and failed 2. I am taking 4 classes this semester and am probably going to fail them again. I have a low gpa because i have failed them in the fall like 2.1, i want to start fresh, I failed the first time because I wasnt mature enough now I am depressed and have severe anxiety and panic attacks. I hate myself and my school and absolutely hate my major. Little late realizing this but I need a change.
Can I transfer to a cc and do well then use that gpa to apply places? Wanna change from computer sci to econ and be successful in life.
You need to take time off from college and get your mental health together. When that is under control, you can start classes at a CC in a new major. It might even make sense to ask for a medical withdrawal now based on your depression, anxiety, and panic attacks. That way you won’t have another semester full of bad grades, just Ws. After you have shown that you can do the college-level coursework, you can apply to transfer to a 4-year institution and finish up that degree.
