Is raising it to a 4.0 possible by the end of junior year? I’m a senior. How hard would it be? if there’s a calculator or anything that would help.
If you mean unweighted GPA (aka 4.0 means 100% A’s and is the highest GPA available) then that’s mathematically impossible. You can’t take away points from 100 and still have 100.
If you mean weighted GPA you might have to give more information.
nevermind, I put it into a calculator and I won’t even be able to get a 3.9 gpa by senior year. I hate myself rn
Don’t worry! If you get to a 3.9, it’s just as good:)
A 3.77 is great GPA too!
Don’t worry about having slightly below a 4.0! colleges just want to see that you are dedicated to school and try hard/do well in classes. If you have some honors and AP’s that’s also good and your upward trend is something that colleges will be happy to see!
My kid got into some great schools with a 3.7 (unhooked, too).
can you elaborate?
