Thank you so much for your time!!!

Your chances are pretty low for Columbia, Brown and UChicago. JHU will be a bit difficult for you but you still have a chance. The other schools will probably accept you as long as the rest of your application is ok. Your ACT is low even for a sophomore aiming for the ivies so you really need to raise it. Taking Calc 3 is good but a 32 Math ACT disparages your academic prep at your school.

Your ECs seem like college app padding to me. Consider more coherence by focusing on a few activities rather than spreading yourself too thin.

Thank you a lot for your advice. I know my ACT was low, that is why i was disappointed. Also, it was a practice test so I didn’t take it so seriously. (sorry for not mentioning it). I would get a higher math score if I really did care about it. About the ECs, I really enjoy all of the ones I’m currently doing. I don’t want to make it seem college padding, but I do not want to give up on any of them.

Bumppppppp

UMich - match
Johns Hopkins - high match
NYU - match
UChicago - reach
Columbia - high reach
Brown - high reach

Chance back, please?

Thanks for your chances!

bump 10char

Cakley, JHU is in no way a high match. A low reach is more appropriate. Michigan and NYU are high matches in my opinion.
