<p>I'm aiming for UCSB, UCLA, Stanford, Columbia, Brown, and Princeton.
Princeton's my #1 choice.</p>

<p>TESTS:
PSAT: 200 on practice test and the real thing was easier, I though, so I would say somewhere in the 200-210 range.</p>

<p>GPA:</p>

<p>3.87 (Freshman Year, unweighted.) No weighted classes available freshman year, although I took Advanced English and Advanced World History 9. My only B was in Advanced English.</p>

<p>4.2-ish? (Sophomore year, weighted. This is projected, since I'm still a sophomore)</p>

<p>I know it's early, but I'd appreciate any input and I believe that it's good to start early...before it's too late. I'm mainly looking for advice on how to improve, but an assessment of my overall situation would be great as well.</p>

<p>Let's see, UCs don't count freshman grades, and you don't have sophmore grades yet. You don't have SAT I or II scores. So, what can I base this off? Hmm...</p>

<p>Asian, 1st generation, no GPA, no SATI, no SATII...all the info I need (not really...) I know UC's and I'll give it a shot. Assuming your GPA is what you say it is, which will go down on the UC GPA, and you get SAT scores close to your PSATs:</p>

<p>UCLA/UCB: Match
UCSD: Safe Match
UCSB: Safety
Stanford/Columbia/Brown/Princeton: N/A...yet</p>

<p>Good luck! Remember: you still have plenty of time to better your chances for Stanford/Columbia/Brown/Princeton because you don't even have 3 full semesters under your belt!</p>
