Sophomore Schedule

I am a freshman right now and am making my schedule for next year. I see that on this site, people post their schedules and then people review it. I think that's kind of cool so I thought I'd try it.
10th grade schedule [9 classes]
1. Geometry plus support lab
2. Biology plus support lab
3. World History plus support lab
4. English plus support lab
5. English support/Geometry support
6. Biology support/World History support
7. Lunch
8. Photography I
9. Spanish 2

*support lab is a lab that meets every other day, along with the subject meeting everyday. It's a lab meant to help students who have trouble in the subject.

It’s an alright schedule, but most people take Geometry and Biology in the 9th grade. Still a good schedule though. Here’s mine:
AP Chemistry
AP Euro
Advanced Math Honors
English 2 Honors
Spanish 3
P.E. or Water Polo.

Is that schedule normal for your school? Here’s mine as well:
AP world history
AP calc ab
AP music theory
Lit&Comp 2 Honors
Chemistry Honors
French 4 Honors

Well for my school, most people aren’t in the support labs. I’m just in it to improve my grades.

If you think you can handle it, I would get out of the support labs. Geometry actually isn’t that hard of a class, if you pay attention.

I really want to get out of the support labs. Because of my grades, I can get out of World History and Biology lab, but everybody is pushing me to stay. Do you think I should get out? I have a B in World History [I was even thinking of going into honors but everyone is telling me not to] and a C in Biology.
In Junior year, if I continue with these labs, I won’t have a period to take cooking class, which is a class I REALLY want to take.

I wouldn’t go into honors if you only have a B in regular history. Try to get out of the support labs and just take regular classes.

If it will help you improve your grades then I would recommend staying in the support labs if you need it. There’s nothing wrong with needing extra help. And Ive never heard of people taking Biology in 9th grade but that’s just me. So I see no issue with you taking it in 10th grade.
All the best!

I’ll get out of History and Bio lab and replace it with an elective. I’ll just take regular biology and world history I guess
