Sophomore Schedule

Hi, I was wondering how my sophomore schedule sounds.

Primary Classes:

Chemistry Honors
AP Environmental Science
English II Honors
American History I Honors
Common Core Math III Honors
Latin I
Health Science I
Weight Training and Conditioning II

Back-up Classes:

Psychology Honors
Sports and Entertainment Marketing I
Intro to Meteorology

Thank you.

If your school offers the course take ap psychology instead of health sci unless you really wanted that class. It’s the easiest AP exam there is (trust me I just took it monday and everyone killed it). The class is also pretty easy but I can’t be sure how your teachers are. Another thing is that it would get one more ap exam out of the way for you so you don’t have to do as much next year.

It is similar to my current sophomore schedule which I thought I was good. I would suggest taking AP psych if possible because it is easy. I would also try for AP chem instead of honors, I was able to handle the class. You just have to work diligently.

@gtownhopeful2016 most schools will not let you take AP Chem without taking regular or honors first, and for good reason. It is a hard class for people with no background.

@guineagirl96‌ I know, but it is still possible if the student is dedicated to the course. Most schools only discourage it and will allow you to take it if you can get a recommendation. My school had the same policy, but it was waived for me and a friend because our AP bio teacher believed we would be able to handle it. The result? In the mock AP exams we took we both consistently passed, and ended up earning higher grades than some who had a chemistry background.
