Hey guys! I am considering applying to Bowdoin for the class of 2024, but was curious as to what the sophomore and upperclassmen housing was like. In particular, I wanted to know if it is possible for sophomores to get singles, or what most sophomores do for their housing. I’m having a hard time finding information about that on their website. Thanks!
Look here on the Bowdoin website for information:

In addition, many sophomores live in the College Houses:

My son is a freshman there. My impression is that maybe 50% live in the college houses and the other sophmores live in the tower or another dorm next to it that I believe has singles. The housing for all levels is highly rated and they just built new apt style buildings that are gorgeous ( park row I believe). There are other apt living housing options already available for juniors and seniors. Everyone appears to love their housing options and stay on campus throughout from what I can tell. My son is already talking about blocking with some friends together for a house but thinks he would be happy in the tower as well.
