hello fellow cat!
well, how does this compare to your classmates?? remember, you’re going to be compared to other applicants. are your classmates taking higher level courses. Are there people taking french 4? can you take honors english? are you going to take AP art? is your school a religiously affiliated private school (just guessing from religion)?
could you specify what type of college you wish to apply to?
this schedule is balanced however not competitive. I agree with fake cat, take honors English and yeah r u gonna take ap art ?
You’re not taking AP Study Hall? That’s a bad sign…
Yeah I’m taking it junior or senior year
My school doesn’t offer it
My dream school is Princeton or Georgetown, I can maybe get a walk on the team (150 in nation, hoping to go up) but also would like Villanova, William .
Mary, etc.
I play tennis by the way
Does your school offer Honors French classes? Could you take Honors English? For those schools you want your GC to check the most rigorous schedule box on your application. Would you consider this the most rigorous in your grade/school?
No, but my older brother took one more honors class (Spanish 3h and English h) but didn’t take Chem h. He was overloaded and ended up getting b’s. With this schedule I think that I can get all a’s and have a better unweighted gpa. The only way I can make it more rigorous is by taking English honors, but my guidance counselor recommendede not to cuz it doesn’t count for uc gpa and mist school don’t care. Basically, it is a matter of it colleges care about a weighted or an unweighted gpa
