Sophomore Schedule

What do you guys think about my sophomore schedule? Does it live up to CC standards? xD

We have semester scheduling at our school, so four classes for half a semester and four classes for the second semester.

*All of my classes are the highest possible(English is the only honors offered at my school)
Projected Schedule

Semester 1
1)Algebra 2 R
2)Physics R
3)Chemistry R
4)English 2 Honors R

Semester 2
1)Pre-Calculus R
2)AP U.S. History 1(We have APUSH 1 sophomore year and APUSH 2 junior year. idk why they divide it)
3)Chinese 2 R
4)Gym/Health

it kind of sucks

only 1 honors and 1 Ap class? scrub city over here

If those are the absolute hardest schedule possible, then that’s all you can do.
It’s not CC-par…

My schedule (for sophomore year), is the hardest possible at my school:
Honors English
Honors World History
Honors Algebra II
Honors Chemistry
Spanish II (no honors)
Acting I and II
World Religions
Filmmaking

That’s a decent schedule. But CC standards? My sophmore
schedule is 4 Ap’s + 2 honors, just saying

^ lucky! My school doesn’t offer AP’s until Junior/Senior year.

Well, I probably shoud’ve given a clearer picture. We have four essential levels of class. First, “S” type which would be your average class.
Second, “R” type, which is the equivalent of honors classes in other schools and english honors is even more difficult than your regular honors class.
Third, we have English Honors, which, although has the name “honors”, only helps you rank wise the same as an R track. Its more of an eye candy thing for colleges on your transcript. The benefits of taking English Honors is that you can take AP Lang junior year and AP lit senior year.
Finally, we have AP/C courses. Of course, everyone knows about APs. There are two “C” courses offered at our school. Accounting C(a college accounting class) and Multivariable Calculus C(I will be taking this senior year after finishing Calc AB and BC in junior year)

Thanks for the feedback guys! Just read over my post up here^^ so you guys dont think my schedule is absolute crap haha

oh haha!

Yeah, that’s what it’s like at my school… the “regular” classes are harder then normal classes at other schools (private preparatory school), and then the “honors” are harder than that.

That makes it much clearer! Haha I thought “R” stood for regular. I get it know :stuck_out_tongue:
Looks much better now! ^.^

@rayna3: haha thanks  Our school isn’t that bad xD We had a harvard, princeton, and columbia acceptance last year and this year we have a princeton, possibly harvard, columbia (valedictorian), and an MIT, i believe

EDIT:@iambenk: Lucky! We’re only allowed one AP sophomore year!

haha I figured that now :P

one of our graduates (vali) went to play volleyball for columbia. it’s pretty awesome, because her younger brother is in my classes… :D

@rayna3: Wow! That’s pretty cool! :D
