Freshman year I coasted by with A’s and B’s, a couple honors classes, and a 3.5 GPA. That’s not excellent by any means, this year my GPA is low. Very low. So low I don’t care to mention it here. That’s a matter of homework and personal views and problems whatever unimportant. If I get a 4.0 (and honors/AP) or close the next two years will they forgive that?
By “they” are you referring to your school to colleges you apply to? Your school will not be like “oh, you’re doing better now! We’ll just wipe your grades from your transcript!” Colleges will see the GPA and if you make tremendous improvement, they might be willing to look past it (not erase it) when making their decision. Also, why don’t you begin working towards good grades now… You don’t need to wait until next year.
What do you mean by the “that’s a matter of homework and personal views and problems”?
Yeah that’s what I mean by they. I understand that they’ll see the GPA and that they’ll consider it, I never said I wanted it erased, if they’d look past it. This semester there’s literally no point in trying. No chance of getting higher given that there’s one week left. Next semester on the other hand I could raise my grade up a little bit, I already plan for that, but even then I’d get MAYBE a 3.0.
I mean it’s something I don’t want to talk about. I’d appreciate it if you’d respect that.
