<p>Is anybody planning on rushing?
Anybody know what the reputations are for each sorority?</p>
<p>I do not know about sororities, but when I was a Freshman, the Greek life was almost nule. However, over the years, Greek life has taken off, and it has become a vibrant part of the GW community. Rushing has become more selective as well. I hope you can get to be a part of it if that’s what you wish. I believe it has a long way to go when compared to, for example, Univ. Maryland right at the state next door.</p>
<p>About 25% of undergrads are part of a sorority or fraternity (panhel). I wouldn’t say any have particularly bad reputations, but some are certainly more social (i.e. huge parties - ADPi and DG come to mind) and others are much more relaxed (SDT, chi o, among others)</p>
